Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) said it will invest an additional $13 billion in India by 2030 to expand and support AI and cloud infrastructure.
The new commitment adds to the $35 billion India investment plan Amazon announced in December 2025.
Amazon said the additional spending will support the company’s cloud infrastructure buildout as demand for AI services grows in India.
The update expands Amazon’s stated India investment plans, with the company also saying its broader spending is tied to AI-driven digitization, export growth, and job creation.
Amazon previously said its $35 billion India plan would build on nearly $40 billion already invested in the country across its businesses.
Amazon also previously said its India strategy includes expanding AI capabilities, improving logistics infrastructure, supporting small businesses, and increasing exports from Indian sellers.
