Alpha Compute finalizes GAMEE acquisition to launch new gaming division

Share

Alpha Compute (NYSE:ALP) closed its previously announced majority acquisition of gaming and digital rewards platform GAMEE, expanding its footprint into digital consumer applications and establishing a newly formed business division called Alpha Games.

The technology company acquired a 60% controlling interest in GAMEE from Web3 investment titan Animoca Brands.

The transaction structure pins GAMEE's implied total valuation at $18 million, with Alpha Compute providing up to $11 million in total consideration to seal the deal.

As a condition of the cross-corporate arrangement, Animoca Brands entered into a two-year standstill agreement regarding capital allocations between the entities.

The transaction absorbs a high-engagement ecosystem, adding 120 million registered users to Alpha Compute’s broader operational umbrella.

Financially, GAMEE brings immediate top-line contributions, having generated an estimated $3.5 million in revenue across full-year 2025.

That growth trajectory accelerated into the first quarter of 2026, where the gaming platform booked $926,000 in quarterly revenue, marking a 56% increase compared to the same period in the prior year.
