Ally Q2 net revenue jumps to $2.3 billion

Ally Financial (NYSE:ALLY) reported Q2 2026 GAAP net revenue of $2.286 billion, up 10%, while common shareholder net income reached $367 million.

Revenue increased from $2.082 billion last year, while GAAP EPS rose 14% to $1.18 and adjusted EPS increased 22% to $1.21.

“Our results through the first half of the year reflect the strength of our franchises and disciplined execution of our teammates,” said Ally Financial Chief Executive Officer Michael Rhodes.

Credit-loss provisions increased to $430 million, while Ally repurchased $148 million of shares and approved a $0.30 third-quarter dividend.

Following the announcement the Ally Financial share price was down 0.2% at $45.52 in premarket trading.

Ally generated $13.3 billion in consumer auto originations from 4.6 million applications, while insurance written premiums rose 9% to $382 million.

Ally’s broader model combines digital banking, auto finance, insurance, investments and corporate finance, supported by approximately $144 billion in retail deposits.
