AerCap (NYSE:AER) delivered the first new GE-powered Boeing 787-9 aircraft to Thai Airways on June 23, 2026 at Boeing’s Delivery Center in Everett, Seattle.

The aircraft forms part of Thai Airways’ fleet renewal program.

AerCap stated the new 787-9 will deliver improved efficiency, sustainability, range and passenger comfort.

The delivery marks the start of Thai Airways receiving modern widebody aircraft from AerCap’s portfolio.
