Upbit opened Cap (CRYPTO:CAP) trading across its KRW, Bitcoin and Tether markets at 14:00 KST on August 6.
CAP traded near US$0.02735, up 15.3% over 24 hours, with a market value around US$42.5 million.
Upbit supports CAP deposits and withdrawals only through Ethereum (CRYPTO:ETH) and warned users to verify the contract address.
The exchange blocked buy orders for about five minutes after trading opened to manage early trading activity.
Upbit also restricted sell orders more than 10% below the previous day's closing price for about five minutes.
Bithumb listed CAP against the Korean won in June, about five weeks before Upbit added its own KRW market.
Crypto.news said trading strengthened around the Upbit announcement, but the listing's exact effect on CAP's price was unclear.
