Two Prime has launched a Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) lending vault on Pareto, targeting institutional borrowers.
The Axiom WBTC Yield Vault accepts Wrapped Bitcoin (CRYPTO:WBTC) and targets annual yields of 1.5% to 2%.
The vault requires a minimum deposit of 5 WBTC, worth about US$400,000, while returns remain subject to market conditions.
Two Prime has committed about US$10 million of its own capital to absorb initial losses from the lending strategy.
The strategy targets borrowers including public companies, credit-rated entities and diversified financial institutions seeking Bitcoin funding.
Pareto provides the blockchain-based private credit infrastructure, while ICE Digital Trust and Copper Technologies will provide custody.
The launch expands Two Prime’s existing Bitcoin lending business into onchain finance, connecting Bitcoin holders seeking income with institutional borrowers.
At the time of reporting, Bitcoin price was $76,575.93.
