
Tudor Investment adds 109,446 Bitcoin ETF shares

- Its IBIT holding rose 18.9% to 688,529 shares worth about $22.9 million.
- The purchase ended a year-long reduction, but Tudor’s holding remains 90% below its 2024 peak.
Tudor Investment added 109,446 shares of BlackRock’s Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) ETF in the second quarter.
The hedge fund held 688,529 IBIT shares worth about $22.9 million on June 30.
The purchase reversed a year-long decline in Tudor’s IBIT holdings, which once exceeded 8 million shares.
Tudor also cut its IBIT call options by about 85% during the quarter, to 148,000 underlying shares.
Its put position stayed roughly unchanged, while the filing does not show why the call position fell.
Tudor manages more than $100 billion, making its $22.9 million IBIT stake a small portfolio holding.
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust had a net asset value of $35.58 per share on August 14.
At the time of reporting, Bitcoin price was $64,188.99.
