Trade.xyz seeks $200M at $1.5B valuation
- Trade.xyz is reportedly seeking about US$200 million in new equity funding at a US$1.5 billion valuation.
- The reported raise would value the Hyperliquid-based derivatives platform at more than seven times the proposed investment.
- The funding talks follow Trade.xyz's expansion into perpetual contracts tracking private companies and other markets.
Trade.xyz is reportedly seeking about US$200 million in equity funding at a valuation of roughly US$1.5 billion.
The proposed financing remains under discussion, meaning the final investment size and valuation could still change.
Trade.xyz operates a decentralised perpetual futures platform built around Hyperliquid (CRYPTO:HYPE) infrastructure and offers leveraged markets across several asset categories.
The reported US$200 million raise would provide additional capital as Trade.xyz expands its product range, although the financing has not been confirmed.
Trade.xyz expanded into pre-IPO perpetuals in 2026, including a Cerebras contract that traded before the AI chipmaker's Nasdaq debut.
The platform has also offered a synthetic SpaceX perpetual contract, creating blockchain-based price exposure without providing ownership in the private company.
At the time of reporting, Hyperliquid price was $54.44.
