Tokenised RWA market jumps 420% since 2025
The tokenised real-world asset market has grown more than 420% since early 2025, with total value rising from $5.8 billion to over $30.2 billion.
The surge has been led by tokenised US Treasurys, which expanded from $3.9 billion to more than $15 billion, alongside gains in tokenised commodities.
Analysts said improved regulatory clarity and easier access have drawn institutional capital into blockchain-based financial products.
“Expansion into tokenised funds and equities has materially increased the addressable market,”
Said Dominick John, analyst at Zeus Research.
The shift reflects a move away from speculative flows towards yield-generating assets, with tokenised Treasurys offering compliant onchain exposure to traditional financial instruments.
Regulatory frameworks such as Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation have helped accelerate adoption by providing clearer rules for institutional participation.
Major financial firms including BlackRock and Fidelity have entered the space with tokenised funds, while future growth may depend on scaling tokenised equities and private credit.
