Anthony Scaramucci said Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) remains in a bear market but has shown greater resilience than before.
He said Bitcoin’s current decline of about 55% is smaller than previous bear-market falls of 75% to 80%.
Scaramucci said the market has also been affected by capital moving from crypto into artificial intelligence investments.
He also pointed to Bitcoin’s four-year cycle, with the next halving about 18 or 19 months away.
Scaramucci expects the next halving to reduce new Bitcoin supply and push the price above $100,000.
He said Bitcoin may continue moving sideways for some time before the next major price move.
At the time of reporting, Bitcoin price was $64,228.02.
