The mint was recorded on the XRP Ledger, where RLUSD operates alongside XRP (CRYPTO:XRP).
RLUSD is designed to maintain a value of $1 and can be used for payments and transfers.
Ripple launched RLUSD in December 2024 as part of its expansion into stablecoins and digital asset payments.
