QuickSwap has issued an urgent warning after its official Discord server was compromised by an unauthorised party, raising security concerns for its community.
The decentralised exchange alerted users via its verified X account, advising them to avoid interacting with any content posted in the compromised server.
Attackers may be using the breach to spread phishing links, impersonate administrators, and promote fake airdrops or giveaways designed to steal user funds.
QuickSwap stressed that it will never initiate direct messages or request funds, urging users to leave or mute the Discord server until control is restored.
The team confirmed it is working to regain access to the server and will provide updates through official channels as the situation develops.
Importantly, there is no evidence that QuickSwap’s core protocol or smart contracts have been compromised.
The incident highlights ongoing security risks in crypto communities, where attackers often exploit social engineering rather than technical vulnerabilities.
