Poland’s lower house has failed to overturn President Karol Nawrocki’s third veto of a crypto-asset bill.
Lawmakers voted 241–198, with three abstentions, falling 25 votes short of the 266 votes required.
The bill would have made the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, known as KNF, the country’s crypto regulator.
The legislation would also have aligned Poland’s domestic rules with the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation, or MiCA.
Nawrocki has said he supports crypto regulation but considers the government’s bill too restrictive.
The president has also warned that the bill could increase costs for Polish crypto companies and push some firms to other jurisdictions.
The latest vote follows failed attempts to override earlier vetoes in December 2025 and April 2026, leaving Poland without a dedicated MiCA supervisor.
