Mystake network outage follows supplier withdrawals
- Several UK-facing crypto casino brands went offline for about 20 hours after game suppliers withdrew slot content.
- Most sites resumed operations within a day, although some returned with reduced game libraries.
- The disruption highlights growing pressure on suppliers serving operators accused of targeting UK customers without licences.
Mystake and several related crypto casino brands linked to Santeda International B.V. were offline for about 20 hours on June 14 after multiple business-to-business slot suppliers withdrew their games.
The outage affected brands including Mystake, Goldenbet, Donbet, Velobet, Cosmobet, Freshbet and Rolletto, with some sites displaying error pages while others lost access to their gaming libraries.
“Scheduled maintenance,” said Mystake in a statement on X regarding the disruption.
Research group GAMRS said the outage followed sustained pressure on slot suppliers to stop providing content to operators serving UK customers without local licences, while GAMRS chief executive Jordan Lea said users were uncertain about access to their funds during the downtime.
Most of the affected sites returned within a day, although reports indicated some game libraries remained smaller than before the outage; following the disruption, crypto payment systems and sportsbook services continued operating.
GAMRS estimated the broader Santeda-linked network generated approximately US$4.7 billion (£3.51 billion) in turnover during 2025, including about US$1.6 billion (£1.2 billion) attributed to Mystake.
The research group also estimated that around 64% of the network’s revenue came from UK consumers, highlighting ongoing regulatory scrutiny of offshore crypto gambling operators and the businesses that provide services to them.
