MoonPay has launched PayBox, a payment vault and non-custodial wallet that allows ChatGPT and Claude to complete cryptocurrency transactions after user approval.

The new product lets users buy cryptocurrencies, swap tokens and make payments without leaving an AI conversation, building on MoonPay's earlier integrations with major AI assistants.

PayBox keeps users in control by requiring approval before each transaction, while supporting crypto payments, shopping and other online purchases through a single wallet.

MoonPay said PayBox will become available from July 28 and is intended to make AI-powered payments easier for everyday users.

The launch expands MoonPay's AI strategy after earlier integrations with ChatGPT, Claude, Grok and Perplexity, making its crypto payment tools available across major AI assistants.

MoonPay has continued to develop AI payment products during 2026, including MoonAgents, AI payment tools and infrastructure that connect AI assistants with cryptocurrency wallets and blockchain transactions.
