
Kiyosaki backs $200 silver as debt nears $40T

US public debt stood at about $39.93 trillion on 13 August, according to Treasury data.
Kiyosaki also cited forecasts from Jim Rickards for gold to reach $10,000 and silver to reach $200 an ounce.
Kiyosaki gave no timetable or calculation supporting either target, while silver traded near $65.33 an ounce on 15 August.
Gold traded near $4,365 an ounce on 14 August, while the Silver Institute expects a 46.3 million-ounce silver market deficit this year.
Kiyosaki has continued to favour gold, silver and Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) while criticising cash savings and rising government debt.
