  • Injective CEO Eric Chen expects US exchange-traded funds tied to INJ to launch before 2027.
  • Three INJ ETF applications are currently pending, with two amended filings submitted in September.
  • Injective is also expanding US licensing and European compliance work around institutional tokenisation.

Injective (INJ) CEO Eric Chen expects US ETFs tied to INJ to launch before 2027, according to an exclusive report by The Block.

Three ETF applications now target INJ, including products from 21Shares, Canary Capital and REX-Osprey.

“I can't comment on the specific time, but I think 2027 is a little bit too far,” Injective co-founder and CEO Eric Chen said in an interview with The Block at Korea Blockchain Week 2026.

The 21Shares and Canary Capital filings were amended in September, signalling progress in their applications.

“In terms of U.S. licensing, I think transfer agent is basically the very start,” Chen said.

Injective Institutional Services became an SEC-registered transfer agent in August, while Meridian launched on September 24.

The network has also finalised its MiCA white paper and entered the ESMA interim register for European trading access.

Following the update, INJ closed down 0.4% at $7.54.
