Hyperliquid (CRYPTO:HYPE) increased real-world asset perpetual contract trading by 32% during the second quarter, reaching about US$5.1 billion.
The growth came as tokenised commodity and equity contracts gained traction on decentralised derivatives platforms.
Hyperliquid expanded its RWA contract offerings during the quarter, adding more tokenised financial products for traders.
The platform remains one of the larger decentralised perpetual futures exchanges, with RWA contracts becoming a bigger share of activity.
Analysts said tokenised assets are attracting more institutional interest, but liquidity and regulatory uncertainty remain important factors.
The increase highlights continued growth in onchain derivatives as crypto platforms expand beyond traditional cryptocurrency trading.
