Hunter Biden will launch LAPTOP (CRYPTO:LAPTOP) on Base on September 9, with 1 billion tokens planned.
The token will target wallets that lost money on TRUMP, alongside Biden’s Substack subscribers and a mailing list.
Founders, including Biden, will receive 30% of the supply, with those tokens locked for six months.
Another 20% will be distributed through two airdrop rounds to the targeted wallets and mailing lists.
A further 30% of LAPTOP could be burned if 30 specified political or market events occur.
Those conditions include a Democratic win in 2028, a new Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) record high and LAPTOP overtaking TRUMP in market value.
Biden named the token after the laptop he left at a Delaware repair shop in 2019, which later became part of the 2020 election debate.
At the time of reporting, Bitcoin price was $79,115.60.
