  • Charles Hoskinson denied rumours that he is leaving Cardano.
  • He said viral videos falsely claimed he called Cardano a failed project.
  • The comments come as ADA remains under pressure despite steady network growth.

Charles Hoskinson has denied rumours that he is retiring from Cardano (CRYPTO:ADA), calling the claims completely false.

Hoskinson said edited video clips and reaction videos wrongly suggested he had described Cardano as a failing project.

“It is categorically untrue. It’s a complete lie. It’s a complete fabrication.”

Hoskinson said the rumour spread widely, with even business contacts and a London taxi driver repeating the false claim.

The comments come as ADA trades near US$0.17, about 94% below its 2021 record high of US$3.09.

Cardano has also faced governance challenges, although the network recently recorded wallet growth and Hoskinson has proposed governance changes.

The broader altcoin market remains weak, with Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) continuing to dominate investor flows while most alternative cryptocurrencies struggle to recover.

At the time of reporting, Cardano price was $0.1668.
