
Harvard holds $101M Bitcoin ETF stake
- Harvard kept 3,044,612 IBIT shares worth $101.4 million at the end of June.
- The university stopped selling after cutting its IBIT holdings 43% in the first quarter.
- JPMorgan increased its IBIT stake, while Morgan Stanley reduced its holdings by 4.5%.
Harvard University kept its BlackRock Bitcoin ETF position unchanged at 3,044,612 shares on 30 June.
The stake was worth $101.4 million, down $15.6 million as IBIT’s price fell during the quarter.
Harvard Management Company had cut its IBIT holdings by 43% during the first quarter.
The endowment also exited its $86.8 million position in BlackRock’s spot Ether ETF during the first quarter.
Harvard’s gold-related holdings reached $171.2 million, compared with $101.4 million in its Bitcoin ETF position.
Mubadala Investment Company and Abu Dhabi Investment Council also kept their combined 22.9 million IBIT shares unchanged.
JPMorgan increased its IBIT holdings to about 10.4 million shares, while Morgan Stanley reduced its position 4.5% to about 16.5 million shares.
