Gondor launches portfolio-backed lending for Polymarket
- Gondor launched a lending platform that lets Polymarket traders borrow against their full portfolios.
- The new system replaces position-based lending with portfolio-backed credit.
- Private access starts next week before a public launch planned for September.
Gondor launched V1, a lending platform that lets Polymarket traders borrow against their entire portfolio instead of individual positions.
The company said the new cross-margin system uses a trader's full portfolio as collateral to determine borrowing limits.
Gondor said the new model helps traders borrow more while reducing financing costs.
The company said the system allows loans to stay open until prediction markets settle instead of requiring early repayment.
Private access will begin next week, while Gondor plans to open the platform to the public in September.
Gondor tested the platform for seven months with 1,000 active Polymarket traders selected from more than 150,000 applicants on its waitlist.
The company has not yet announced borrowing rates, collateral requirements, liquidation rules, or the prediction markets that will be available at launch.
