Gemini (private) donated more than US$10 million in Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) to MAGA Inc., a political action committee supporting US President Donald Trump, according to a Federal Election Commission filing.

The donation was reported about three weeks after the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission and Gemini jointly asked a court to reverse a US$5 million settlement reached in January 2025.

Federal Election Commission records show Gemini made two Bitcoin donations worth more than US$5 million each on June 19, and the political action committee may use the funds for independent spending in support of Trump.

The original CFTC case accused Gemini of making false or misleading statements during its Bitcoin futures application process before the company agreed to pay a US$5 million penalty in 2025.

The CFTC later said its review found the complaint should not have been filed under its current enforcement standards, and the court will decide whether to grant the joint motion.

At the time of reporting, Bitcoin price was $65,109.75.
