Fake Odyssey downloads target crypto wallets
- Fake downloads of The Odyssey are spreading Lumma Stealer malware to Windows users.

Fake downloads of The Odyssey are spreading Lumma Stealer malware through files disguised as movie releases.
Bitdefender found the files days after the film's release, using names that resemble popular torrent releases.
The files use labels such as 1080p, WEBRip and Blu-ray to appear like genuine movie downloads.
The files end with .exe, which means they are Windows programs rather than video files.
Once opened, Lumma Stealer can collect crypto wallet data, passwords, payment details and browser login cookies.
Bitdefender identified three domains linked to the malware and said its security tools blocked the detected files.
US authorities previously linked LummaC2 to at least 1.7 million information-theft cases, including attempts to steal crypto seed phrases.
