Eric Trump said Bitcoin is in its “greatest period ever,” citing rapid institutional adoption and expanding access through traditional finance.
Speaking at the Bitcoin 2026, Trump said the past six months marked a turning point, driven by ETF growth, corporate treasury adoption and increasing integration with mainstream banking services.
“What bitcoin has done in the last six months relative to the previous three years is transformational,”
Said Eric Trump, adding:
“We are in the greatest period I've ever seen.”
Trump pointed to major banks offering bitcoin-backed mortgages and custody services as evidence of a broader Wall Street shift toward digital assets.
Eric Balchunas said bitcoin ETFs have been among the most successful product launches, helping open access to retail investors previously excluded from direct exposure.
Trump added that long-term holding behaviour and limited supply are creating structural demand pressures, with both institutional and sovereign interest contributing to tighter market dynamics.
The comments underscore growing confidence among industry figures that bitcoin is transitioning from a speculative asset into a core component of global financial infrastructure.
At the time of reporting, Bitcoin price was $75,734.29.
