CoreWeave secured a $2.6 billion financing facility on 10 August to fund high-performance computing infrastructure.
CoreWeave has also completed a $3.1 billion financing facility and described AI infrastructure financing as an emerging asset class.
Nvidia reported $75.2 billion in data centre revenue for the quarter ended 26 April, up 92% year on year.
Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) advocate Pierre Rochard disputed the comparison, noting that chip production lacks Bitcoin’s fixed supply mechanisms.
