  • Coinbase has partnered with Moov to bring stablecoin payments to more than 1,000 community banks and credit unions.
  • The integration will support payments, merchant acceptance, settlement and real-time funding.
  • Coinbase will provide its Payments API and custodial wallets through Moov’s existing banking platform.

Coinbase has partnered with Moov to bring stablecoin payment infrastructure to more than 1,000 US financial institutions.

The service will let community banks and credit unions offer stablecoin payments without building their own crypto systems.

“Community banks and credit unions have witnessed their customers use digital assets for years,” said Coinbase Head of Corporate Affairs Ryan VanGrack.

Coinbase will provide its Payments API and custodial wallets through Moov’s existing payments platform.

The system will support consumer payments, merchant acceptance, settlement and payouts.

The partnership extends Coinbase’s push to provide crypto infrastructure directly to traditional financial institutions.

Coinbase has also partnered with PNC, Citi and JPMorgan as it expands its banking and stablecoin infrastructure.
