Chainalysis adds AI agents to blockchain analytics
Chainalysis is adding artificial intelligence agents to its blockchain analytics platform, enabling users to conduct investigations using natural language queries.
The new tools allow users to build customised AI agents tailored to specific investigative workflows, reducing the need for deep technical expertise in blockchain analysis.
“This is a really important moment for reducing the barrier to entry to blockchain intelligence,”
Said Chainalysis CEO Jonathan Levin.
The agents will help users identify relevant transactions and analytical approaches, drawing on insights from more than 10 million prior investigations conducted through the company’s Reactor platform.
The rollout comes as demand grows from traditional finance institutions and law enforcement agencies seeking to track digital asset movements across blockchains.
Chainalysis said the system goes beyond basic chatbots by incorporating audit trails and evidentiary standards required for professional investigations.
The move follows a similar push by competitor TRM Labs, signalling a broader shift toward AI-driven tools in blockchain analytics as both investigators and criminals increasingly adopt artificial intelligence.
