Centrifuge has launched Schroders' emerging markets debt fund on Solana (SOL), expanding access to tokenised bond investments.
The product introduces the Schroder International Selection Fund Emerging Market Bond, providing tokenised exposure to Schroders' investment strategy.
“Bringing Schroders ISF Emerging Markets Bond fund onchain represents an important evolution in the market,” according to Centrifuge chief strategy and growth officer Anil Sood.
Schroders brings more than 50 years of emerging markets debt experience and over 40 dedicated investment professionals.
The fund initially launches on Solana, marking Schroders' first deployment on the blockchain network.
Solana's tokenised real-world asset ecosystem already holds more than $4 billion in onchain value, Centrifuge said.
Centrifuge aims to make tokenised strategies usable across investment vaults, collateral arrangements and financial applications.
The launch brings actively managed emerging markets debt onto public blockchain infrastructure, extending tokenisation beyond cash-focused investment products.
