Wallets linked to Bitget’s $387.5 million hack have moved about $3.9 million into Zcash (ZEC), according to a CoinDesk report.

CoinDesk’s review found 2,746 ZEC entered Ironwood, Zcash’s newest shielded pool, across three transfers.

Pseudonymous blockchain investigator ZachXBT first flagged the movements on Wednesday.

The funds passed through two intermediary addresses funded by a wallet Bitget identified as the attacker’s.

Ironwood hides senders, recipients and transaction amounts once funds enter its shielded pool.

Investigators can still compare timing, amounts and other metadata if funds later return publicly.

The three deposits represented about 15% of the ZEC stolen during Bitget’s September 24 breach.

Following the update, ZEC was trading down 0.3% at $1,420.02.
