Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) worth about $13.7 million moved from a wallet that had been inactive since 2012.

The wallet transferred 100 BTC after holding the coins for roughly 14 years, according to on-chain data.

Bitcoin.com News reported that the wallet received the Bitcoin when prices were far below current levels.

The transaction does not show whether the owner sold the Bitcoin or moved it to another wallet.

Long-dormant Bitcoin wallets can become active without indicating an immediate sale or market exit.

The transfer adds to recent activity involving wallets that have held Bitcoin for more than a decade.

Bitcoin holders continue to move older coins as the network records transactions from wallets created during its early years.

At the time of reporting, Bitcoin price was $64,340.98.
