Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) traded near US$64,000 after US President Donald Trump warned of possible military action against Iran, adding fresh uncertainty to financial markets.

Trump said talks with Iran would continue but claimed the ceasefire was over, following recent military strikes and heightened tensions in the Middle East.

“The Cease Fire is OVER!” said US President Donald Trump.

Bitcoin traded at about US$64,134, up 0.6% over 24 hours, with a market value of about US$1.28 trillion, while remaining well below its previous record high.

Earlier this month, spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded US$266 million in net inflows, while Strategy sold 3,588 Bitcoin for about US$216 million.

Traders are also watching oil prices and shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, as any disruption could affect global markets and demand for risk assets.

Bitcoin has held support around US$62,000–63,000, while traders continue monitoring geopolitical developments, ETF flows and market sentiment for signs of the next price move.

At the time of reporting, Bitcoin price was $63,471.62.
