Share
  • Binance will require Brazilian users to provide extra information for international crypto transfers from November 1.
  • Transfers above US$50,000 will use Brazil’s full purpose-code list, while some transactions face a US$100,000 limit.
  • The changes follow Central Bank of Brazil Resolution 521 and require monthly reporting of affected transfers.

Binance will require Brazilian users to provide additional information for international crypto transfers from November 1, 2026.

The rules cover transfers involving foreign residents, overseas accounts, exchanges and self-custody wallets.

Binance said the changes follow Brazil’s Resolution BCB No. 521/2025 and apply only to Brazilian users.

Users must state the transfer purpose and identify the beneficiary or sender before processing.

Transfers up to US$50,000 use a shorter purpose list, while larger transfers require Brazil’s full classification list.

International transfers involving unauthorised foreign-exchange counterparties face a US$100,000 per-transaction limit under the standard process.

Binance will report affected transactions monthly to Brazil’s central bank under the updated framework.

The changes will bring Binance’s international crypto transfers involving Brazilian users under additional foreign-exchange information requirements.
