Bernstein said strategic partnerships between Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) mining companies and artificial intelligence infrastructure providers are becoming increasingly important as demand for computing power continues to rise.

The research note said the rapid expansion of AI data centres has intensified competition for electricity and computing infrastructure, creating opportunities for Bitcoin miners with significant power capacity.

Bernstein said miners that control large-scale energy assets and data centre infrastructure are well positioned to secure long-term contracts with AI and cloud computing companies, while continuing their cryptocurrency mining operations.

Several publicly listed Bitcoin mining companies have expanded into high-performance computing and AI hosting as they seek to maximise returns from existing power infrastructure.

The convergence of cryptocurrency mining and artificial intelligence infrastructure has accelerated as technology companies compete for limited power resources to support increasingly complex AI workloads.

At the time of reporting, Bitcoin price was $65,325.59.
