ARO Network has raised $5 million in a strategic funding round to expand its decentralised “Agentic Edge” infrastructure designed for AI agents.

The round was co-led by NoLimit Holdings and an undisclosed Asian data centre operator, signalling institutional support for ARO’s push to deliver personalised and privacy-focused AI systems.

“We are moving beyond the concept of simple cloud infrastructure,”

Said ARO Network CEO Randy.

“ARO is the Agentic Edge. We are placing autonomous, secure AI directly into the hands of users.”

The company aims to shift AI processing away from centralised cloud systems by enabling agents to operate directly on local devices, using user-approved resources within homes.

ARO said its decentralised residential network already exceeds 1.18 million active nodes as of March 2026, supported by new enterprise-grade infrastructure across the Asia-Pacific region.

Alongside the funding, the company launched Testnet Sprint 2, introducing a simplified user experience following rapid adoption in its initial test phase.

The strategy reflects a broader push to decentralise AI infrastructure, positioning ARO to compete in emerging markets focused on privacy, edge computing and user-owned digital agents.
