Zenith Minerals reports gold assays at Consolidated Dulcie Gold Project
- Zenith Minerals reported initial assay results for nine holes from a 34-hole reverse circulation drilling programme at the Consolidated Dulcie Gold Project.
- The exploration campaign completed 4,601m of drilling on Sept. 16.
- The campaign tested previously undrilled targets to evaluate mineralisation within a 600-metre gap across the Dulcie Shear Zone.
Zenith Minerals (ASX:ZNC) reported initial assay results from nine reverse circulation drill holes at its Consolidated Dulcie Gold Project in Western Australia.
The 34-hole programme covered 4,601m across the property and finished drilling operations on Sept. 16.
Managing Director Andrew Smith commented, “This is previously untested ground beteen the Dulcie North and Dulcie deposits, and these first results confirm gold mineralisation ithin the gap and support our geological interpretation that the prospective host sequence and Dulcie shear extend through Dulcie Central.
The initial nine reported holes include intercepts such as 3m at 2.48 grammes per tonne gold from 130m in hole SRRC179, which included 1m at 5.98 grammes per tonne gold.
All six holes assayed at the Dulcie Central corridor intersected gold mineralisation within an approximately 600-metre untested gap between the Dulcie North and Dulcie deposits.
Following the announcement, the Zenith Minerals share price was unchanged at $0.08.
The Consolidated Dulcie Gold Project hosts an inferred resource of 21.3 million tonnes at 1.0 gramme per tonne gold for 675,000 ounces across a 6-kilometre mineralised corridor.
Zenith Minerals is an Australian mineral exploration company focusing on gold and lithium assets in Western Australia and Queensland.
