
Weebit Nano rejects media claims on bankruptcy risk

Weebit Nano (ASX:WBT) issued a public statement rejecting recent media reports that claimed the business faced an increased risk of bankruptcy.
The media report referenced analysts alleging rising financial risks, whereas the business reported a cash balance of $168.34 million as of 30 June 2026.
"Our recent capital raising and strong cash balance provide the financial resources to execute our growth strategy, including supporting customers as their products progress towards mass production and future royalty generation," said Weebit Nano CEO Coby Hanoch.
The technology developer highlighted that net cash used in operating activities stood at $18.4 million for FY26, supported by $102 million raised in recent capital efforts.
Following the announcement, the Weebit Nano share price was unchanged at $3.49.
The business stated that its capital reserves support customers moving products towards mass production and future royalty generation.
Executive share purchases by the CEO and chairman were cited by management as evidence of internal conviction.
