  • Voltaic Strategic Resources identified copper-rich material and preliminary readings up to 8.31% copper at the El Dinero prospect.
  • Following the announcement, the Voltaic Strategic Resources share price was unchanged at $0.028.
  • The company plans to conduct systematic mapping and sampling to prepare targets for potential drilling.

Voltaic Strategic Resources (ASX:VSR) identified malachite-rich material across an area of approximately 100m during initial field work at its El Dinero prospect within the Meekatharra Project in Western Australia.

These latest field observations follow laboratory rock-chip assays announced in June 2024 that confirmed copper-gold mineralisation with grades reaching up to 2.57% copper and 2.25 grammes per tonne of gold.

"El Dinero is not a new copper occurrence, with previous laboratory rock-chip assays having confirmed copper-gold mineralisation at the prospect, including up to 2.57% copper and 2.25 g/t gold," said Voltaic Strategic Resources Chairman Daniel Raihani.

Portable X-ray fluorescence analysis on four selected copper-mineralised rock samples yielded average indicative copper readings ranging from 1.88% to 8.31%, while 40 total rock samples were gathered with 36 targeting gold mineralisation.

Systematic mapping and follow-up sampling aim to determine the continuity of the mineralisation as the business advances the prospect.

Following the announcement the Voltaic Strategic Resources share price was unchanged at $0.028.

The company maintains a focus on critical mineral and precious metal exploration assets across key mining districts in Western Australia.
