Volt Group forms WA Goldfields technology alliance
Volt Group (ASX:VPR) announced a joint service alliance between its newly acquired subsidiary, 4D Delta, and Element Geospatial.
The partnership is set to accelerate the deployment and commercialisation of 4D Delta’s proprietary digital asset inspection and condition monitoring technologies within the priority Western Australian Goldfields region.
By combining 4D Delta's advanced technological solutions with Element Geospatial’s established regional presence and data capture scanning expertise, the alliance aims to deliver enhanced maintenance outcomes for world-class resource projects.
Operating primarily out of Kalgoorlie, the EGS technical team will leverage its strong local client relationships to identify resource project owners who can benefit from optimised asset management.
Initial operations will focus specifically on the maintenance of critical wear surfaces in mill and bulk materials handling assets, such as chutes, bins, and deflectors, which are typical of resource operations in the Goldfields.
4D Delta's proven digital inspection solutions are already utilised across more than 800 assets globally—spanning iron ore, gold, cement, bauxite, and alumina operations across Australia and North America.
Volt Group Executive Chairman, Adam Boyd, expressed strong optimism about the venture, highlighting that Element Geospatial provides the crucial on-ground presence and technology delivery expertise required to assist WA's mining industry.
