
Viva Leisure books $237.1M in annual revenue

Viva Leisure (ASX:VVA) posted $237.1 million in revenue and declared its first final dividend of 3 cents per share.
The outcome represented a 12.2% increase from the prior corresponding period against slower operating cost growth.
The company reported an adjusted free cash flow of $35.1 million to fund reinvestments and share buy-backs.
Statutory NPAT reached $12.8 million, up 144.5%, and underlying NPAT came to $18.9 million, up 46.4%. Net leverage reduced from 2.04 times to 1.77 times against a bank covenant of 2.50 times.
"With just three net new corporate clubs, we added more than 17,000 corporate members and lifted average membership per club to 1,351, the highest in our history. That is what this business looks like with the growth lever switched off," said Viva Leisure CEO and Managing Director Harry Konstantinou.
The firm stated that total network membership grew by 73,341 members to reach 694,243 across 534 locations.
Following the announcement, the Viva Leisure share price was unchanged at $1.55.
Viva Leisure is targeting one million network members by FY29.
The payments and technology segment experienced significant expansion, with like-for-like revenue growing by 39.8%.
Corporate club utilisation exceeded 80% for the first time as average membership increased to 1,351.
