Universal Store reports $376.1M in annual sales

Universal Store Holdings (ASX:UNI) posted $376.1 million in group sales for the 2026 financial year, a 12.6% increase.

Statutory profit dropped 21.6% to $18.2 million, reflecting a $23.8 million non-cash impairment on CTC intangible assets.

The group delivered a strong FY26 result with an underlying EBIT of $64 million, up 17.2% from a year earlier. Underlying NPAT of $40.5 million was 16.3% higher year-on-year.

“This performance reflects the continued excellence in providing our customers with on-trend products, a service-oriented experience and engaging communications,” said CEO Alice Barbery.

Directors declared a 17 cents per share final dividend, bringing the total yearly dividend to 43 cents per share.

The company stated it is well-positioned for FY27, and following the announcement, the Universal Store share price was at $8.08.

At June 30, the retailer managed 123 physical stores, comprising 88 Universal Store and 26 Perfect Stranger outlets.

Management intends to open 16 to 20 stores across the group in FY27 – nine to ten new US stores, six to eight new PS stores and one to two new THRILLS stores.
