- The project provides low-capital growth options for the broader Cloncurry hub.
True North Copper (ASX:TNC) published a scoping study for its Wynberg deposit showing potential pre-tax cash flow of $53–87 million.
The study evaluates development options to add a high-value gold and copper resource to the broader Cloncurry project.
The company stated that the shallow deposit benefits from an existing mining lease and established regional infrastructure.
The study outlines a production target of 0.87 million tonnes containing 53 thousand ounces of gold equivalent.
Following the announcement, the True North Copper share price was unchanged at $0.38 as technical studies continue into 2027.
True North remains on track to complete a pre-feasibility study for the broader Cloncurry project in late 2026.
The business also expects ongoing drilling updates from its district-scale Mt Oxide exploration assets over the coming months.
