Tartana Minerals (ASX:TAT) has executed a binding agreement to raise $5.2 million through a cornerstone share placement to Xingye Gold (Hong Kong) Mining Company.
The issue price of $0.053 per share represents a 165% premium to the stock's last traded price before market execution.
The company stated that the transaction establishes a strategic partnership that provides technical and operational backing from an established global mining group.
Under the terms of the placement, Xingye will acquire approximately 19.99% of issued capital to become the largest shareholder in Tartana Minerals.
Following the announcement, the Tartana Minerals share price was unchanged at $0.02.
Tartana Minerals focuses on exploring and developing copper, zinc, silver, tin, and gold assets within the Chillagoe region of Far North Queensland.
