  • Talga Group has started commercial deliveries of its flagship battery graphite anode product to battery developer Nyobolt.
  • The announcement triggered a 26.19% increase in the company's stock price during morning trading.
  • The relationship is intended to prove product demand in high-power energy markets beyond standard passenger electric vehicles.

Talga Group (ASX:TLG) has commenced physical commercial shipments of its battery graphite anode material to United Kingdom battery technology developer Nyobolt under a binding offtake agreement.

The initial deliveries originated from the company's demonstration facility in Sweden following final customer qualifications and technical audits.

The remaining balance of the 3,000-tonne agreement is scheduled to come from a planned commercial-scale plant, with construction targeted for 2027 pending a final investment decision.

The buyer recently completed a capital raising round that established its corporate valuation at US$1 billion.

Following the announcement, the Talga Group share price was up at $0.265.

The manufacturer stated that its specific material provides low internal resistance and high crystallinity to support ultra-rapid charging capabilities.

The company stated that it is also engaged in advanced negotiations with additional international battery manufacturers across Europe, Japan, and North America.
