Summit Minerals (ASX:SUM) has commenced a low-altitude aeromagnetic survey at its newly acquired Keystone Project in northern Nevada, engaging Pioneer Exploration Consultants to carry out the work using unmanned aerial vehicle technology.

Survey flights covering 210 line-kilometres across the Keystone Main, Marble Rock and 599 prospects were completed on Jan. 11, with data post-processing now underway and final results expected within three weeks.

The survey marks the first phase of Summit's initial field campaign at Keystone and is aimed at defining project-scale structural features to support drill targeting for a preliminary drilling program planned for early 2026.

It also represents the first significant exploration activity at the project since mining ceased in 1943.

The Keystone Project is a polymetallic system located in Pershing County, Nevada, and hosts known silver, tungsten and gold mineralisation that has not previously been tested by modern exploration methods.

At the time of reporting, Summit Minerals' share price was $0.035.
