  • Summerset Group reported 415 occupation right sales for the third quarter of 2026, comprising 175 new sales and 240 resales.
  • Year-to-date sales reached 1,228 units, marking a 10% increase compared to the first nine months of FY25.
  • Management highlighted stronger resale activity and regional growth, alongside an operational shift that raised the deferred management fee to 30%.

Summerset Group (ASX:SNZ) reported 415 occupation right sales for the quarter ended Sept. 30, driven by a 27% increase in resales for the first nine months of the year.

The 415 total quarterly sales compared with 240 resales and 175 new unit sales, while year-to-date total sales reached 1,228 units.

"Our resales performance was strong, and we were pleased to see demand turning into sales across our established villages this quarter," said Summerset Group CEO Scott Scoullar.

The company noted that Canterbury was a standout market with 63 sales in the quarter, while international economic uncertainty caused some prospective buyers to delay selling their homes.

Looking ahead, the business reported that sales activity improved after June and that raising its Deferred Management Fee to 30% caused no material change in contracting rates.

Following the announcement, the Summerset Group share price was down at $5.59.

The retirement village operator relies on both new village developments and turn-over resales to drive its revenue model across Australia and New Zealand.
