Strategic Elements (ASX:SOR) announced that Japan granted a moisture energy technology patent to its 100% owned subsidiary.

The development follows a research collaboration at the University of New South Wales with co-inventor Professor Dewei Chu.

As shown in image_9e1884.png, the patent is titled 'Moisture Electric Generator Battery Cell' and provides registered Japanese protection.

The company stated that a divisional patent application remains pending examination within the Japanese market.

Following the announcement, the Strategic Elements share price was unchanged at $0.034.

The pooled development fund operates by backing various high-innovation projects across the Australian technology sector.

The firm recently reported that investor demand for its latest capital raising round exceeded the base target.
