SRJ Technologies Group (ASX:SRJ) bolstered its Middle Eastern presence, announcing that its subsidiary, Air Control Entech, has secured a three-year call-off contract valued at US$4.4 million.
The agreement, signed with a government-owned upstream oil and gas operator in the United Arab Emirates, focuses on providing advanced robotic leak detection and emissions inspection services.
The milestone follows a proof-of-concept campaign at the client’s onshore gas facility and includes a discretionary two-year extension option.
This contract marks a pivotal moment in SRJ’s strategic expansion, capitalising on the recent acquisition of First Avenue General Contracting to gain direct access to regional national oil companies.
It arrives as a timely boost following a challenging 2025 financial year, where the group reported an 11% revenue decline and an increased EBITDA loss of £2.3 million due to timing delays.
By pivoting towards an "embedded asset integrity" model, SRJ aims to establish more predictable, recurring revenue streams.
The UAE deal complements a separate multi-year agreement with Divetech Marine Engineering Services, further solidifying SRJ's specialised footprint in the maritime and energy sectors.
While investors remain attentive to historical cash flow pressures and the group’s recent £500,000 cost-saving restructure, this US$4.4 million win signals a shift in operational momentum.
