  • Sinclair Gold executed a binding earn-in agreement with Medaro Mining for the Swedish Sala Project.
  • The transaction is worth up to $3.4 million, and Sinclair shares subsequently rose to $1.34.
  • Sinclair stated this agreement allows the company to direct its focus towards the Mt Henry asset.

Sinclair Gold (ASX:SGC) executed an agreement with Medaro Mining for the Sala Project worth $3.4 million.

The binding contract replaces the non-binding letter of intent that Sinclair previously announced on May 14.

"This agreement allows Sala to do that while Sinclair and its shareholders retain exposure to its future success," said Sinclair CEO Jeff Sansom.

Medaro will provide $1.3 million in cash and fund $1.75 million in future exploration expenditures.

Sinclair expects completion by 2027, and following the announcement, the Sinclair share price was up at $1.34.

Sinclair recently shifted its core business strategy to focus primarily on the Mt Henry Gold Project.

The company reported that the Mt Henry asset holds 915,000 ounces of gold across a 16-kilometre corridor.
