Sigma Lithium (ASX:SAU) fully resumed its mining-industrial operations after winning a technical legal appeal in the Federal Court of Appeals.

The ruling upheld the environmental licences for the company after legal challenges had previously halted operational activities.

The court acknowledged the economic importance of the business, which supports roughly 19,000 direct and indirect jobs across 12 municipalities.

The company stated that existing mine and processing capacity remain sufficient to meet its annualised production target of 330,000 tonnes of lithium oxide concentrate by year-end 2027.

The company continues to run initiatives focused on water access, food security, drought resilience, and education in the Vale do Jequitinhonha region.

These ongoing social and infrastructure projects aim to support local entrepreneurship alongside broader regional gross domestic product growth.
